I chose Frank to react like so because it would have been a boost to his ego but at the same time he would have been honored that his legacy had been immortalized to the point where a restaurant was built to remember him. I made the scotch reference because he was such a heavy drinker.
Frank Sinatra was proud of his son for choosing to be involved with music as he grew up and was extremely glad that he continued his father’s legacy after Frank Sr. was starting to lose the ability to perform. It appeals to me that Frank would have made a great post about his son expressing how proud he would be that his son is having success in his career.
Frank Sinatra made a movie in 1945 called “The House I Live In”, short movie made to promote racial and religious tolerance on the home front. Barrack Obama being elected as the first African American President would have been a humongous deal now that He was always fond of the American public being racially tolerant. I made the post as if he were proud to show this.
Frank would have not been to upset about this I believe. If anything he would feel compelled to make up for lost time with Ronan Farrow. Sinatra had publicly shown regret for not being there as much as a father figure for his children because he was so busy with his career. I believe that if he had the chance of having another kid he would want to be there for it. I made the post seem as Sinatra playing it cool and complementing the kid now that although he would be honest he was never the man to show much emotion, seldom the case were he did. And let’s face it, it’s just a really awkward situation to be in.
I was very intrigued to choose Frank Sinatra as my person for this project. I chose to do this site like so after HOURS of listening to his songs and watching interviews about him and of him. Frank had a funny way of talking he usually referred to years as the year of the century he lived on. I never watched an interview or read an interview where he used the whole actual millennia with the century and year unless it was a specific date he was talking about. Frank also was a very honest man and an open book when it came to share his life. This was portrayed through his many songs in which he expressed no regret for the things he had done but, however, he did admit to being wrong. This is heavily reflected upon the song "That's life" and "My Way." SO as I wrote this website I made sure I expressed things just as frank would have. Frank would have not tried to cover up anything, he would have owned up to his mistakes. This is reflected in the website when he admits to his drinking problem and not having a great relationship with his kids as they grew up. I found this out about him after watching an interview about the singer said through his son "Frank Sinatra Jr." In the sharing of the blog and what not I chose events that had to do with Frank Sinatra personally and not other events because Frank was the type of man that did only care about himself and what happened around him.The pictures On the website reflect that as all of them are about The man himself. IN frank's life what really was important then Is what really important in mine which is honesty. You will find that in this website everything is very honest. IN part I believe this is why this website was so easy for me. It was something that came from the heart and that told how one must be honest with the rest of the world. Frank said "When I sing, I believe. I'm Honest."
